I'm an IT professional whose been in the industry since 1991. I can provide you with computer and network services at your convenience in the following areas and more:

Windows (PC) computers & home networking over Ethernet/WiFi (802.11a/c/n & b/g with WPA/WPA2/WEP security); including file, printer, hard disk drive, and device sharing.
Broadband & Dial-up: Cable modem, DSL, firewall routers, PPPoE.
Virus, Malware, Spyware, Adware problems.
Software/Hardware Installation/Configuration: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Outlook, Windows Live applications, MS Office applications, etc.
Computer setup & performance tuning, schedule backups of critical data to external hard drives for safety.
iPhones, iPads, iPod's, iTunes, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.
Remote Assistance for software problems and malware cleaning.
Computer training, documentation & help with common programs.
Configuring/Purchasing any type of computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone.
Upgrading older computers to work with Windows 10.
Repairing/Replacement of field replaceable hardware like laptop LCD's, memory, hard disk drives, DVD/CDs, keyboards, etc.
Some Apple Mac OS X 10 expertise.

I have pleasant desk-side manners and can also provide assistance over the phone. I have worked with all age groups and have a friendly demeanor about me. So, if your elderly friends or relatives have computing needs, I would be more than happy to assist!

Onsite Assistance: I charge $30 for the first hour and $20/hour thereafter; most jobs are 2-3 hours. I am willing to travel anywhere in the local area, although travel costs may apply for long distances.

Remote Assistance: I can also fix software problems remotely, if I am able to log into your computer. I charge $10/hour for this service. You will need to install a small, third-party communications program called AnyDeskto do this. It allows me to take over your computer remotely. I have been very successful with this and other methods of remote access.

I can also assist you via audio/video calls using WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype, Google Chat, Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
